On 26 November 2026, the PATCHWORK team will participate in the Setmana de l'Antropologia (organized by ICA) at the Museu Etnològic i de Cultures del Món de Barcelona with an interactive workshop exploring the social networks that connect us. Through a combination of short talks, collective activities, and hands-on exercises, participants will discover how researchers study relationships and why the people we know shape our opportunities, identities, and everyday experiences.
Together, we will map our own social worlds, estimate the size and composition of our acquaintanceship networks, reflect on the diverse relationships we have, and build collective graphs showing the many ways people are connected. The workshop offers a unique opportunity to experience network science and anthropology in action while contributing to a shared exploration of human connections.
